Medical Solutions Supplier Facebook Campaign Benefits Veterans

Published: 7 December, 2012

Glen Mills, PA – At the close of each year, Glen Mills-based Medical Solutions Supplier chooses to benefit a charity over the holiday season.  This year, they are partnering with their clients and Facebook friends to donate a $1 to a veterans’ service organization for every new page “like” (up to 5,000) received through December 31st

“We consider this a time of year to count our many blessings and to give back to those who are less fortunate,” remarked Steve Kantor, President and Founder of Medical Solutions Supplier.  “Our company makes corporate charitable donations throughout the year, but our employees also want to be involved – which is how we came up with our Facebook Challenge.”

For a company of 70 individuals to set a goal of 5,000 new “likes” is quite ambitious, but the Medical Solutions Supplier team is undaunted.  Since December 3rd, employees have sent out requests asking friends to re-post on their own Facebook pages about their company’s veterans’ initiative.  The traditional holiday card distributed by the national sales team also promotes the campaign. “Teamwork is one of our core values, and it’s great to see how everyone has pulled together to spread the word to benefit our military heroes and their families,” added Joe Carberry, CEO of Medical Solutions Supplier.  “In fact, we work closely with VA hospitals year-round to help veterans benefit from compression pump therapy, so this charitable initiative was a perfect fit for Medical Solutions Supplier.”

Since 1994, Medical Solutions Supplier has provided breakthrough products that treat circulatory disorders and their resulting conditions.  Based in Glen Mills, PA,

Medical Solutions Supplier employs over 30 employees at its corporate offices and another 30+ sales representatives assigned to serve territories throughout the country.  In the last three years alone almost 25,000 individuals have benefitted from Medical Solutions Suppliers pneumatic compression pump therapy.  The company’s 2012 holiday card wishes clients and friends “Peace…Prosperity…and Pumps!” – and though the message is meant to bring a smile, this therapy is truly life changing for those who suffer from the pain and swollen legs associated with lymphedema, chronic wounds, venous insufficiency, and related disorders.  “We’ve seen outstanding results and received hundreds of testimonies from people who can finally wear shoes again – and, more dramatically – whose limbs were saved from amputation through the use of our compression pump therapy.  Helping people and making a positive difference in their lives is at the heartbeat of Medical Solutions Supplier.”

The company’s Facebook page is constantly updated with testimonies of patient success stories as well as the Company’s charitable initiatives.  “We love sharing our story, and expanding our reach to new friends,” said Brenda Viola, Executive Public Relations Director for Medical Solutions Supplier.  “Communication builds community – and the more people find out about us, the more people we can help.”  Viola admits that the 5,000 “likes” goal is a lofty one, but “when it comes to helping our veterans, we were inspired to think big.”  Visit www.facebook.com/medicalsolutionssupplier to join the campaign by December 31st!
