A Message to Our Referral Sources about COVID-19

Published: 13 March, 2020

As the COVID-19 situation unfolds, we want to underscore that Medical Solutions Supplier’s standard of patient care and service to you is intact. We welcome the opportunity to care for your patients with lymphedema, venous disease, and chronic wounds and our team is well-prepared to process your orders now and for the foreseeable future.

Because the health and safety of your patients is our top priority, following guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) we have taken these precautions:

  • Enhancing sanitary protocols.
It is our regular practice to ensure our warehouse and shipping areas are cleaned and disinfected. Daily sanitizing of work surfaces and tools has been implemented. Be assured that every precaution has been taken to keep patients’ Lympha Press and ArtAssist devices free from contaminants. Equipment is shipped following stringent safety measures.
  • Implementing instructions by phone on the use of Lympha Press and ArtAssist devices  (beginning with shipments on Monday, March 16, 2020). To reduce the potential transmission of COVID-19, patients will receive thorough instructions on the use of their device via phone and/or videoconferencing by a trained delivery technician. Prior to shipment, every product will be fully assembled, calibrated, and locked based on your prescription. Patients will receive a call within 48 hours of receiving their package as well as follow up communication two weeks after instruction. Should in-person assistance be required, arrangements will be made to accommodate patients in the safest possible way and according to any current guidance from the CDC.
  • Supporting employee health No employee in our organization that experiences COVID-19 symptoms such as fever with a cough or respiratory symptoms are permitted to report to work. They have been instructed to stay home and follow CDC protocol for returning to work.

Our hope is that the COVID-19 threat resolves quickly, and we can restore in-home patient education. Until then, we remain committed to providing an outstanding level of service to you and your patients while adhering to the highest safety standards.

If we can be of service in any way during this challenging time, please contact us.
